L.M.Falcone On Tour for TD Book Week!!
March 2011

L.M. Falcone will be visiting schools, libraries, bookstores, and community centres on Vancouver Island, BC, as part of TD Canadian Children's Book Week. Book week runs from April 30 - May 7, 2011.
TD Book Week is a nation wide event celebrating Canadian children's books and the importance of reading. For more information on the 2011 Tour visit the TD Book Week website.
Diamond Willow Nomination

The Midnight Curse has been nominated for a Diamond Willow Award in the 2011 Saskatchewan Young Readers' Choice Awards. The Willow Awards promote reading by granting a Willow Award to the Canadian books voted by students to be the best of those nominated in three age categories. Willow Awards Website

RO@R Literary Conference

L.M. Falcone, along with a whole roster of authors, presented at the RO@R Literary Conference in Richmond Hill. RO@R is a yearly celebration, hosted by Redstone Public School, focusing on the importance of literacy in our lives.

The Devil The Banshee and Me wins the Red Cedar Award
L.M. Falcone’s juvenile fiction novel, The Devil, The Banshee and Me,
has won the 2009 Red Cedar Award! This is the second time Falcone
has been nominated for this award. The first was for her debut novel,
The Mysterious Mummer in 2006.
The Devil, The Banshee and Me also received an Honour nod at the
2008 MYCRA Awards, Manitoba’s young readers’choice award.
This is the first time in the history of the awards that the same
author has won two years in a row.
Walking With The Dead wins the Silver Birch Award
L.M. Falcone’s Walking With The Dead has won the 2007 Silver Birch Fiction Award, Ontario’s readers’ choice award. The event was held at Toronto’s Harbourfront with thousands of students in attendance.
Walking With The Dead wins the Diamond Willow Award
L.M. Falcone’s Walking With The Dead won the 2007 Diamond
Willow Award, Saskatchewan’s readers’choice award. The gala was held in Swift Current.
Walking With The Dead also received an an Honour nod at the
2007 MYCRA Awards, Manitoba’s young readers’choice award.
